I first heard about Mayhem a couple months ago when I read an article about her and her mother's paper creations. I was enthralled by her spunk, and found her truly inspirational. Earlier this week, I saw that she is collaborating with J. Crew's children's brand Crewcuts. I think it is amazing that she is only 4 years old, and is doing something millions of people about. I highly recommend you check out her mom's instagram, and see all of her awesome outfits!
I have a huge family, and we love to get together whenever we can. But, as one of the youngest of 14 cousins(on my mom's side), it's pretty hard to do. So when everyone comes back to Pittsburgh for Christmas, we spend as much time as possible together. Christmas is pretty laid back, but Christmas Eve is actually quite formal. After church, we all go over to my Aunt's house for by far the best meal of the year. So naturally I needed a great outfit to wear. When I was in Loft the other day, I immediately fell in love with this skirt. I knew it would be perfect for Christmas eve. I planned the rest of my outfit around it. I knew I would be able to pair it with things I already own. I bought this sweater from Old Navy earlier this fall. I have had these flats for years, and love them. I have so many pairs of these tights it's ridiculous(they're just so soft!), and I am wearing a pair of old earrings that are similar to these. What will you be doing to celebrate the season?

I was downtown the other day, and I saw all of these girls wearing fur. It really got me thinking about how cute and classy fur can be. Unfortunately, these things can be pretty expensive. I found these three great alternatives to the cute styles on the right. I hope you find something you like!
I know this skirt costs slightly more than what I normally go for ($65), but I bought it two years ago, and still am madly in love with it. It is without a doubt my favorite article of clothing. I wear it as much as I possibly can. It goes with everything, and always looks so nice. Whenever I wear it, I get tons of compliments. Do you have any wardrobe staples you can't live without?
When the holidays come around, I love breaking out all of my sparkly nail polish. It just adds an extra level of festivity to any outfit. I especially love the Ulta brand (it's only $6!). It''s such a high quality, and so affordable. Does anyone else have any other suggestions?
Have you ever heard of sheinside.com? Well when I found it a few months ago I was so impressed. There was this beautiful, floral, Valentino dress I had be lusting for months, but there was no chance I would ever spend close to $1000 on a dress! Then I came across this dress and literally screamed for 20 minutes straight. This store has so many products that are like big, label, designer pieces. It's amazing and I love it and I hope you do too.
The image on the left is the Valentino dress, and the one on the right in the sheinside remake (I paid $54 for it!)
If you know me, you know I wear a TON of sweaters. I don't care what the temperature is, I will probably find one that works. But sometimes it's hard to find ones at reasonable prices. I don't need all of mine to be cashmere, I just need them to be comfortable. I have found that Old Navy has consistently warm and cozy sweaters that satisfy any purpose. Have you found any great post-Black Friday sales this week?
I received this lip stain in my Birchbox back in August. Unfortunately, it fell to the bottom of my makeup bag, and I completely forgot about it. That is until last week. I was looking for something different to wear, and found this. Needless to say, I was smitten. It goes on great, and lasts super long. It has a bit of weird texture, but I put some chapstick on over it, and it was perfect. I absolutely love this! Do you have any lip stains you swear by?
After I finished my holiday shopping, I wanted to treat myself to something small. I found these great little things (all under $30!). I loved these monogrammed earring. The mug and tea set are just too cute! I thought the candle was just lovely, and the journal was so pretty. I hope you enjoy what I picked.
I'm sure many of you have heard all of the hype of Urban Decay's Naked eyeshadow palettes. I know I did! But, I couldn't justify spending upward of $50 for make up. Then one, glorious day, I came across Coastal Scents Revealed (and Revealed 2!) Palette. It looked strikingly similar, and at less than half the price I had to try it! Turns out it's even better than I expected. I was so happy to find a quality alternative with an affordable price tag. Let me know what you think of these shadows!
